This game was created with the goal of making players more aware of how and why fake news is written and distributed. Players will hopefully be more skeptical of the information they encounter after playing this game. The platform shows how fake news can appeal to certain emotion and play on our confirmation bias, work with partial truths and include misleading specificity to achieve its malicious goal of harming public opinion.
