Overview of Barriers and Facilitators in COVID-19 Vaccine Outreach
This research report from the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation estimates that the U.S. COVID-19 vaccination program had saved close to 300,000 lives through June, 2021. Federal agencies have arguably been effective in promoting vaccination, and evidence-based data can be freely used by anyone needing to promote vaccinations. Structural and attitude related barriers remain in the progress towards getting all Americans vaccinated, but new strategies for convincing uptake are proving to be promising.
