Vaccine hesitancy and behavior change theory-based social media interventions: a systematic review

This study acknowledges that behavior change theories and social media tools may together help to guide the design of interventions aimed at improving vaccination uptake. The authors conduct a systematic review to test the efficacy of such theories in this context. The authors conclude that social media interventions need to be tailored to the specific context in which they are being released. Dialogue-based interventions seems to be the most effective.
