What Determines Vaccine Hesitancy: Recommendations from Childhood Vaccine Hesitancy to Address COVID-19 Vaccine Hesitancy
This article acknowledges that vaccine hesitancy is not a new phenomenon, but it has been amplified in the public eye thanks to COVID-19 and the arguments that have arisen out of its vaccine’s development. Understanding how the issue has been dealt with in the past will be helpful in creating solutions that can be applied to the current situation at hand. The article unpacks multiple models and frameworks for understanding the drivers of vaccine hesitancy, including the role of online and offline communication.
